NeoNiche was founded by Prateek N Kumar, 35, Ashish Iyer, 32, and Indraneel Bhat, Valay Lakdavala, and Ashish Sedani, all 27 years old. Headquartered in Mumbai, the company was incorporated on April 1, 2012 and has branches in Delhi, Bangalore and Chennai. NeoNiche is an experiential marketing company, which acts like a support marketing team to its clients. The company conceptualises multidisciplinary brand building strategies across various platforms including digital and social.
Prateek credits his marketing experience with helping him co-found NeoNiche. He says, “I got to dabble in all aspects of marketing which helped me when I started NeoNiche. My co-founders were my colleagues who believed in me and my dream. I told them I would not be able to give them salaries initially; they had such faith in me that they accepted equity instead and the rest as they say is history”. Their trust was not misplaced as NeoNiche broke even within the first six months of its operation and clocked a turnover of `5 crore in the first year itself, and has been posting a 100 per cent year-on-year increase since. Having bagged clients like Google, Gartner, Amazon Web Services, Accenture, CNBC, Hindustan Times, LiveMint and others, they say it is imperative for them to offer the best of services. The mix of services they provide include Digital Marketing, Social Media Marketing, Experiential Marketing Campaigns, Event Management, Brand Activation, Brand Identity, Customer Contact Programmes, Loyalty Programmes and Public Relations.
NeoNiche considers US-based JackMorton its competitor, as it provides services on the same level. They believe there is no Indian company that offers similar value proposition. They got their first client with the promise that they would return the money if the work was not satisfying. Not only did the client like their work but also awarded them business worth `40 lakh; the client base is now 100 and counting.
